Generating Buzz for Product Retailers

Organizing and promoting on-farm trials are often daunting tasks for retailers and manufacturers who want to focus on selling their product. However, we all know that facts and research help sell product and have the potential to create loyal, long term clients. Advanced Ag Solutions goal in providing a sponsorship opportunity is to help our clients secure on-farm trial materials as well as provide content and marketing initiatives for sponsors.

Our Next Level Projects are organized, on-farm, geo-spatial statistical research projects that our clients have vested interest in exploring. We work with each client to lay out sound trials comparing products, varieties, rates, techniques and/or equipment. We build the variable rate prescriptions, printed maps, and instructions. We follow up with each client and project throughout the season, take GPS scouting observations from the plot, write up our observations, take pictures and document everything. We then compile all of this info into an analyzed report that our client can use to make a business decision on the farm.

Sponsor Options

Option 1: Provide product/equipment for a predesigned on-farm trial. Work with the AAS team on coordination and delivery of product/equipment.

Option 2: Provide product/equipment and contribute to the farmer’s expense. With these contributions, more farmers will be able to try your product in more areas. This is a great opportunity for progressive farmers to learn from the trials, appreciate them, and become loyal customers that spread the word.

These trials, if done over a number of locations, can create fantastic marketing opportunities for sponsors to select components or whole trials that best represent their company vision for their product.

Who might be a sponsor?

Local Dealer: Our fees are so nominal and our clients so hungry for information a small gesture can go a long way. Some free product might be all it takes to start a trial.

Small manufacturer: Again, since our fees are so small in this area, there might be reason to scatter some trials around the country and get some feedback from various dealers or future dealers about how your products stack up in their locations.

Large manufacturer: Since research and sales are such a tremendous investment and competition is strong, using a local independent third party would help legitimize your brand to the regional community.
