Farm Trusted Research
Unbiased, On Farm Research Maximizes Yield
Are you interested in understanding how new production practices work on your farm, in your soils? Are you bogged down with too many management issues to really sift through the data yourself? Take part in a Next Level Project and join a growing group of leading edge farmers that are putting discovery and research to work on their own farms.
Technology and global competition have required farmers to stay abreast of a daunting array of new practices and products. Never before has there been more of a need to review and sort through the clutter of data quickly and effectively. Public university funding is drying up and manufactures now control product retail. Without unbiased information your confidence will dwindle and you will pay more for things you don't need.

Each season is a new opportunity to define and overcome research challenges. Why not do it yourself? You can. Hire an agronomist. Hire a statistician. Spend hours assuring trial design. Maintain impeccable records. Compile results. Throw out bad data. And finally get results. That's it?! Nope, you still need multiple site-years. Start over!
Most farm owners enjoy trying new things and taking a look at something different. In fact, many are collecting loads of data. However, not until design, efficient collection, and statistical analysis come together will this information become trust-worthy and effective.
Advanced Ag Solutions provides members of the QGN with large block trial design and conducts geo-spatial statistics to gather farm trusted, science based results from on-farm trials. Advanced Ag Solutions also employs randomized and replicated small plot trials on our research farm. QGN members benefit by knowing and growing more profitable crops before others even hear about it! And to make the process more exciting, it costs less than doing everything yourself!
As of now, we are attempting to drought proof, peeking at experimental hybrids, evaluating substitute fertilizers, varying nitrogen rates, and exploring new high-tech seeding rates. Between members' experiences, inquisitive thinking and seasonal inquiries, the potential for continued discovery is enormous and sharing this information with other QGN members during breakout sessions is paramount.
